General
- All participants are responsible for their timing chip - no chip, no time.
- All participants must compete in the event they registered for unless approved otherwise by a race official.
- The course may be closed at the discretion of the Race Director (weather, time of day, etc) and any remaining runners will be advised that race support will no longer be provided after that time should they wish to continue.
- The race may be canceled in the case of severe weather.
- The following items are not permitted while competing in the Muddy Monster: pets, bicycles, and costume accessories (ex. swords).
- Absolutely no littering on the ground.
Bib Number Requirements
- All registered participants will receive a bib number that must be worn on race day
- Please do not alter the bib in any way.
- The bib must be visible and worn on the front outside of all clothing during the entire race.
- Bib numbers are nontransferable and must be worn by the registrant to whom it has been assigned.
- Anyone running without a Bib (“bandit”) will be removed from the course!
Chip Requirements
- JMS Racing Services will provide the timing for the Muddy Monster using the Ipico Sports timing system.
- The small and lightweight timing tag must be secured to the participant’s shoe.
- Chips are nontransferable and must be worn only by the participant to whom it is assigned.
- Do not cross the finish line more than once.
- Timing tags will be collected at the conclusion of the race.
These regulations are for your safety and the safety of the other participants in the race. Muddy Monster reserves the right to disqualify and remove anyone from the course who is not in compliance with these regulations. If you have any questions, please contact the Race Directors.
